Ben's birthday fell on the last day of school this year, and he was quite happy about that.
Caitlin's preschool celebrated their final day with a pizza party and fruit kabobs.
They performed some songs for the moms.
Caitlin said her final goodbyes to her good friends....
...and Zhang ayi and Cui ayi.
The boys walked off the bus triumphantly.
In the evening we had barbecued chicken, our last barbecue with the Sevys, and our other neighborhood friends.
Ben opened his packages and we ate chocolate cake. 
Then I went back to our packing. Saturday we were off to the U.S.
