Rob and I celebrated our thirteenth anniversary this weekend amidst all the other activities. I'm grateful for our friendship, all the adventures we've been blessed with in thirteen years...and all the wonderful children.
We decided on a group gift...a new guitar and recorded our own rendition of Bob Dylan's Hard Rain's Gonna Fall. I had to come to terms with the fact that I don't sound like Bob Dylan. Should that be suprising? I'm a housewife. But I do have at least two blue-eyed sons. We love this poetry. I think it should be sung as often as possible...no matter how we sound. Its kind of athletic because you don't want to change any of the lines. You really find yourself amazed at the power of the lyrics.
